• The Google Algorithm Changes tool shows the average fluctuations, volatility, in the Google search results, correlated with recent algorithm updates.
• Volatility is calculated daily, based on the ranking changes of approximately 400,000 desktop and 200,000 mobile keywords, across various countries.
• Depending on the number and severity of ranking changes, the chart is split in three areas - low (fewer changes in SERPs), medium and high (greater SERP volatility).
• The Volatility KPI is computed for the current day, and ranges between 1 and 10, according to the fluctuations recorded in the last month.
